Clayton J. Joffrion is a 21 year resident of Oak Park in Senate District 4.  He is an attorney admitted to practice in Louisiana and Florida.  He received his B.A. in Political Science from LSU in 1985.  He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1988.  He also received an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Miami in 1996.

Clayton is committed to bring change to Louisiana and New Orleans and in speeding up the recovery.  He is not one to offer "pie-in-the-sky" hollow promises like the career politician incumbent.  Clayton is openly addressing the issues with concrete solutions as can be seen by his Platform. 

The incumbent has held office since 1991, yet he has done nothing to truly help the District, City, or State during that time.  He would be term limited but for his move from the House of Representatives to the Senate so he could continue to represent the special interests groups which are destroying the state.  His campaign is funded by special interest groups who are overwhelmingly from outside of the District.
